Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.

Hi there! My name is Sugarplum. I’m a cute 10-week-old (as of 11/27), 4-pound female Terrier/Chi mix with a sleek short coat and ears that point straight up!! My foster mom says I am a great little girl – I love to play with toys and run around outside. I am not too happy when I am left alone to entertain myself - for the first few minutes, I can get a bit loud until I figure out I need to entertain myself for a little while. I love to run and chase leaves outside – I race all around the yard and can run so fast! I absolutely love having a dog friend to play with and that friend can be big or little like me - I am not scared of anything – I just want to play and run! I will follow my foster mom around the house but am just as comfortable exploring on my own. When I get tired I look for my bed to curl up in for a nap.
I am not a shy girl at all but I am not super cuddly – I will let you pick me up and love on me but you have to catch me first! I think everyone wants to play chase with me. I am working on my potty training – my foster mom says I am a good girl and am learning quickly. I do need to go out every few hours so I don’t have an accident inside. I eat dry food 2x a day and sleep in an indoor exercise pen at night with a pee pad in case I need to go to the bathroom. My foster mom is starting to introduce me to a crate at night but I am not too keen on being in it yet. My foster family has other dogs and a cat – I play well with everyone! I am not overly interested in the cat and don’t bother him.
I’ve been spayed, microchipped and I’m current on vaccines as well as up-to-date on heartworm and flea prevention.
