Wouldn't I be the best Valentine present to yourself ever? My name is Zoey and I am
a female Maltese, am about 7 years old, and weigh about 11 pounds. My family could no longer care for me
so I ended up at a shelter and the shelter vet noticed that I needed a little TLC before finding my forever
home. So that is how I found my way to SBRET. I needed a dental as I had a pretty yucky mouth and in
fact lost a lot of teeth during my procedure. My breath smells so much better now and I of course can
still crunch away on my dry food. Small dogs in particular need special attention given to keep their
teeth in healthy condition.
I am loving life in my foster home as I have lots of little Yorkies to chase and play with. I am learning
about those fun things called toys too. Even with all that playing that still leaves me plenty of time to
snuggle up with my foster mom. I am doing pretty good on my housetraining but will need some continued positive
reinforcement in my new home. I would probably be best in an adult home and one that has plenty of time for
playing and snuggling!
