2/23/10 update available!

I know, I know I have the craziest haircut ever! But let me explain. You see I was not being taken care of and was actually living outside, and a big dog attacked me. I was brought into a vet's office matted, dirty, bloody, flea and mite infested, and limping on my rear leg. So I had to have all my hair shaved off to treat my puncture wounds and to get rid of all the critters and matts. Oh, let me introduce myself! My name is Willow (Willy) for short and I am a male Poodle mix, weigh about 4-1/2 pounds, and am about 4 months old. I have spent the past couple weeks just healing from my injuries and I am fit as a fiddle now.

My foster mom thinks I am the sweetest, best little boy ever. I will need someone who is home during the day to work on housetraining as I am just now being taken outside. I have been using papers as I have been healing from my wounds. I love toys and would love another little dog buddy--I really like the Maltese that lives here but he can be a bit less than enthusiastic about a puppy! I also need a home without young children and you better be quick on your feet too because I do like to get underfoot. When my coat grows back in, I am just going to be beautiful as it is as white as snow.

So please think about giving SBRET a call if you want the sweetest little guy in town to come join your family! My adoption fee is $175.

2/23/10 update: Hello again, it’s me, cute little Willy checking in with an update. I am in a new foster home and my new foster family agrees that I am the sweetest little boy ever! My favorite bed is your bed, my favorite food is what you want me to eat, and my favorite thing to do is what you’re doing! I am super loving to any dog or human I meet. I love to play, play, play, and play some more… until I fall asleep on my foster mommy, that is. Though all I want to do is be with you, I am perfectly fine with being in my crate if you are busy. At night, I would love to sleep with you and cuddle, but I will stay elsewhere if you don’t want me to. I am a very flexible boy. I’m getting the hang of housetraining and I got my goofy haircut trimmed a bit, so now I am cute as a button and soft as a cloud! My foster mommy says that the sight of me bouncing over to greet someone with the poof on the end of my tail wagging joyfully is enough to melt anyone’s heart! Please think about calling SBRET if you want to adopt a wonderful pup who will love you forever!
