In Loving Memory

9/18/11 update available!

Are you looking for a fun loving fur buddy with big brown eyes and long eye lashes? If so, then I am the dog for you! My name is Ridley and I am a 4 year old female Shih Tzu mix looking for someone to have fun with. I am one of the over 100 dogs taken in the Warren County puppy mill bust. I was living in a bad place called a puppy mill and am so happy that I am now in a home that shows me love.

My foster Mom is so proud of me because I am doing well on my houseetraining and I sleep in my crate at night without making a peep. My favorite time of the day is when she comes home from work and plays with me and my fur family, I love to play and romp in the grass and smell the spring air. I have a lot of time to make up for!

I like to give you gentle pushes with my head when I want attention and am being taught to sit and stay--what a busy life I have now. My wish is lots of love and patience because I do get nervous around lots of people and a full bowl of food, belly rubs, and sweet talk and in return you will get a super sweet little girl.

My forever home needs to have a fenced yard, someone home at least part of the day, no children under 12, and another small fur buddy. You see us mill dogs are special little creatures--we have always been surrounded by other dogs and so do best with a buddy. A fenced yard helps keep us safe because we can be a flight risk if we get away from you and since we are just a bit shy or nervous young children are not best for us.

Could you be my furever family? Contact SBRET for more info or come by our adopt events and you will see me hanging out. See ya soon,

Kisses,
Ridley

6/10/11 update:   Hi there, Ridley here to update you on my transistion into my foster home. Did you know there is an abundance of food and treats? I didn't but I do know now and I love them! Since coming into foster care I haven't had any potty accidents and my foster Mom is so impressed with me. She tells me daily that whoever adopts me will have an amazing furever buddy because of my ability to make you smile no matter what kind of day you've had. I would prefer to have a fur buddy to play with and no small children because they do make me nervous. Could you be my furever family? Contact SBRET for more information, or come visit me at one of our adopt events.

Sweet kisses from Ridley

9/18/11 update:   Hello. Ridley here with an update because I am so ready for my forever family and home. My foster Mom tells me that it will happen soon that the right people will see me and decide I am the pup for them. Do you like to take long walks and hike in the mountains? I would love to be able to spend the day exploring new surroundings and be your companion. I have exceptional manners and love to play with others but being the only dog would be fine to because then I would be considered a Princess. Look at my pictures when I first arrived at SBRET and pictures of me now and you will understand why it would be o.k. for me to be a Princess. I started out in a bad place and have been blessed with a new beginning and just want my forever home. Could you be the one? Visit me soon at one of the adoption events and my foster Mom can tell you more about me.

Wet Kisses,
Ridley
