In Loving Memory

My name is Ivey and I was rescued from the Warren County puppy mill so you may have been following my story. I am exceptionally sweet, cute, and very friendly if a little on the shy and hesitant side. I am a 6 lb. female Pomeranian and about 6 years old.

I haven't had a potty accident in my new foster home and I really like going outside. But remember to be patient with me in a new home as it sometimes takes us a bit to make an adjustment. I tend to want to potty on the patio or dirt, I'm not much of a grass walker but that is not unusual for puppy mill dogs as I haven't experienced grass before. I am very good on my leash and want to stay pretty close to you. I am such a nice little girl and want to learn how to play with toys. I can even pick up a tennis ball (learned this from my Golden friend) but my foster mom is giving me smaller toys to play with. I like to be on carpet or my dog beds - I'm not terribly comfortable on wood or tile floors.

The vet had to extract about 8 teeth, and I had already lost some before I was rescued, but it doesn't keep me from enjoying my food. I also had a mammary tumor removed which is also very common in female dogs used for breeding. But that life is behind me now!

I sometimes will bark when you leave the house but my foster mom comes back in and asks me to "hush" and I do so! I would probably like being in a home with other little dogs. I am learning all about how nice it is to live in a home and have comfy beds to sleep on - this is the life! Older children would probably be fine for me too.

If you would like to give a pretty little girl a wonderful forever home, contact SBRET today. My adoption fee is $175.
