In Loving Memory

The expression "jumping into something with both feet" doesn't even begin to cover the way one of our newest volunteers has joined our group. This is Linda and she began by fostering a sweet little terrier for us, and when she was placed she agreed to take home a new foster dog on that same day. That little girl ended up being a keeper and was added to Linda's rescued dog family. You see Linda and her husband Jeff already had three dogs of their own and each of them has a special story and all of them have required a lot of time and patience. However, they decided they had room for one more permanent member of the family. Their next rescue from us was a puppy mill dog and those are always challenging fosters but we knew Linda and Jeff had the experience and love that it takes to bring one of these dogs out of its shell.

Now in addition to all of her fostering she has also been hard at work making and marketing bracelets with the proceeds going to SBRET and has even recruited her sister to make blankets and notecards for us as well. We feel fortunate to have Linda and Jeff onboard as they have brought much enthusiasm into the group. Thanks for choosing us to share your talents and love of animals with.
