Hey everyone! My name is Toby and I am a 1 year old male Dachshund/Chihuahua mix
who is looking for my forever home. I weigh about 8 pounds and am full grown. Lucky for me some nice
person picked me up off the streets and when they could not find my owner, they contacted SBRET. Look

I love kids and other dogs but need some time to get used to new big people. My foster mom calls me
The Littlest Big Dog because I forget how small I am. I am very protective and devoted to my family.
I adapt well to any home and love to play play play! If you keep lots of toys around I will entertain
myself for hours. Make sure to get sturdy toys because I have a very strong little jaw and my favorite
game is pulling all of the stuffing out. My foster mom keeps me in the kitchen while she is at work
and I do not chew on the cabinets or the floor, just the toys she leaves for me. I am doing well on
my housetraining and love going for walks. If you are home it helps if you let me out once every
few hours, but if not I will be a good boy and not make a mess for you to clean up. I might have a
little more trouble with carpets, but my foster mom is working with me and keeps an eye on me to
keep me from having an accident.
I love to snuggle in bed with you but will also sleep in a crate at night. I would love a home
with another dog to play with. I have lots of energy and want a fenced in yard or lots of walks!
If you take me for a walk I have to be on a leash at all times. I am a hound and if I catch scent
of something to chase, I will chase! I can be stubborn, but I'm very smart and loving. I will
jump on the couch with you and give you lots of kisses.
