Am I not one gorgeous little gal? My name is Sophie and I am a 2 year old Long-Haired Dachshund and weigh about 12 pounds.
I have the most beautiful coat and warm brown eyes. My life has not been that great before a wonderful volunteer
with SBRET took me in. It seems I was living outside and not being taken care of. Can you imagine that? But
boy has that changed now!
I am a real cuddle bug and love to play too. I follow my foster mom all around the
house--she says I am her little shadow. I get along with the other dogs and cats in my house. I can sometimes
be protective over my food with the other dogs but my foster mom is working with me on that. Hey nobody is perfect!
I am doing well on my housetraining but will need to continued reinforcement in my new home. I sure would love
to have a fenced yard for potty breaks and play time with my new family!
