Hello there, My name is Scooter. I am a male Maltese/Terrier mix boy around two years old, weighing in around 6 pounds. I am full of life and love having fun--all thanks to my new friends at Small Breed Rescue. I like to run and chase while playing keep away with my foster brother and his stuffed bone. Playing with my foster parents and their grand kids is also a bundle of fun. I am learning all sorts of new things including sleeping in my own kennel at night and going outside to do my potty needs. I am still young and new at this so I sometimes whine just a tiny bit when we first go to bed. I still have an occasional potty accident but am getting better since my foster parents are helping me to go outside regularly. Buy the way, I am teaching them how to use a leash and it is going well as long as I remember that they just can't keep up with me, being on four legs and all. I have found that walking a little slower helps them keep up without the leash pulling at me. I have had all of my shots and have been neutered and microchipped. I feel healthy and am now looking for a forever family to adopt. I hope to find a family with either another small breed or some gentle children to play with, as I have plenty of energy to burn.
