Scooby and Laura
This is Scooby and his new mom, Laura. We are so happy to have found a home for Scooby. We knew when we got Scooby that it would probably take a very long time to find him a home, since he wasn't the prettiest dog in the world. When he came into the program he was so flea infested that he had scratched off the tops of his ears. But Laura saw Scooby and fell in love. It was truly a heartwarming thing to see. After we completed the adoption paperwork, one of Laura's neighbors came out to meet Scooby and Laura was so excited to have Scooby as her own dog. She proudly told her friend that this was going to be her new dog. We were so impressed by that. She truly thinks Scooby is beautiful. She saw Scooby's inner beauty - and she truly has no idea that someone else may not think Scooby is a handsome boy. Thanks, Laura, for really looking at Scooby, and seeing beyond what he looks like on the outside, to see the beautiful boy he is on the inside. We are all so happy that Scooby now has many years of love and happiness ahead of him, with one of the sweetest people we have ever met!
