10/9/10 update available!

Do I not have the cutest face you've ever seen? My name is Rambo, and that is what my foster mommy thought when she saw me sitting sad and lonely in a shelter. There was no way she was leaving me there! I'm a Chihuahua and perhaps Pekinese mix around 2 years old and weigh about 13 lbs.

I'm a very good boy. I am nice to the other dogs here and don't care a thing about the cat and of course love the humans, even the kids! I am calm and quiet and such an all around pleasurable fellow. My foster mom loves to see me do my "happy dance" when I get excited. I guess it surprises her because I am normally so laid back.

I am still learning about using the potty outdoors but my foster mom says I am doing a terrific job and have caught on very quickly. I would really like a fenced in yard because I'm not entirely sure about this walking on a leash business and I do like to have time to do my thing outside. I will sleep quietly in my crate at night or when my foster mom has to leave the house, but I would truly love to have a big bed and some humans to snuggle with. I ride very well in the car, either lying in the back seat or in my crate.

Just to sum this up, my foster mom says I am practically perfect in every way and that no one will be able to resist my adorable mug! I am looking for my forever family and I'm not picky! I only ask that any children be over the age of 6 and that you be willing to spend lots and lots of your time loving and cuddling me and making sure I get outside often while I'm still learning about housetraining. Call SBRET and ask to meet me, Rambo, today! My adoption fee is $175.

10/9/10 update: I am doing great on my housetraining and I know you humans think that is pretty awesome. I will even go to the door and sit patiently to go outside --it would be great if my new family had a fenced yard too! I will go into a crate with only a tiny bit of a whine if you need me to, but I am such a good boy that I usually just hang out in the house during the day and night without needing to be crated. My foster mom says I have the cutest happy dance when you come home or if you happen to have a yummy treat for me--hey just trying to show my appreciation! Well don't know why I haven't found my forever family yet--what else does a pup have to do?
