Peanut with his new family!
This is Dwayne (Peanut's new dad) with Peanut, and Margie (Peanut's grandmom) with Rebel. Peanut's mom, Lynette, wasn't in this picture since she wasn't feeling well. This picture wasn't taken on the day of Peanut's adoption, but was taken a couple of month's later. We found out when we went back to get this picture that Peanut has become quite pampered! He is never alone! During the day when his mom and dad are at work, he goes to Margie's house. In the evenings and nights he stays with his mom and dad What a life! The funniest thing is that he has become QUITE protective of Margie! We had to take this picture from a safe distance as Peanut REALLY doesn't like anyone getting too close to his new grandmom! But this is the only person he tries to protect in this way. We couldn't believe it! We just laughed and said Peanut was trying to tell us he was happy there and we were NOT going to take him away! Don't worry, Peanut, we know you are happy there, and we are do glad you are!
