My name is Moxey and I am a little female Chihuahua about 5 years old and
weighing in at about 5-6 pounds. Don't let my gray muzzle fool you as I am not an old dog--hey
maybe some highlights would do the trick? I did not have a very promising future ahead of me
since I was in a very rural shelter and was very pregnant. Lucky for me another rescue person
saw me there and knew that her friends at SBRET have a soft spot for us Chihuahuas. It was
determined that it was not safe for me to have the puppies as they were way too big--a product
of very irresponsible breeding. I was so scared when I came into my foster home and needed
time to heal.
I am a much happier, healthier little girl now but am still a bit shy. I need a home where
someone will take their time with me and give me lots of loving. I need continued positive
reinforcement on my housetraining, but am coming along nicely. I get along with other small
dogs and am just a little sweetheart. I hope my forever family finds me soon.
