"My what beautiful hair you have and so much of it!" Yes, it's true, I hear it a lot and I do agree.....it's gorgeous and so am I. I'm Misty, a 5 year old female Pomeranian, and I lived in a Puppy Mill until SBRET gave me a chance at life outside of a cage. As you can imagine this big world was pretty scary at first but I'm adjusting. I live in a foster home with two other dogs that help show me the way. Everyone here (dogs, I mean) goes to the bathroom outside...imagine that! That's not how it was done where I come from! But like almost everything, I'm learning. Since I want to belong to this family, I follow along. Sometimes I forget and have what they call an "accident" but they assure me that I'll get the hang of it. I like my doggy friends and I like my human friends as well. I am skittish, but since everyone is so kind, I do warm up. I've started barking at my foster mom when she gets home from work and that makes her smile. She says she loves me. I've never had that before. I think I'll bark at her more. I need help learning to walk on a leash and learning to play with toys. I love treats and I'm beginning to play with my foster sisters. It would be better for me to be in a home with another dog to help me learn this big ole' world. It also would be a good idea to have a fenced-in yard. Oh! Don't forget I will need professional grooming. Maybe there is someone out there that likes brushing hair for relaxation. Wouldn't that be great!!
