Sandy, Darrel, and Max
This is Max with his new mom and dad, Sandy and Darrel. We are so lucky to have found another great home for one of our SBRET seniors! Within the first week at his new home, Max has already been to Petco for his own special things, and has been to Georgia to visit his new human relatives. His new human sister has already had him a special name tag made (which she presented to him in Georgia), and everyone is just crazy about him! Sandy also took Max along with her to purchase some new kitchen cabinets at Home Depot. When we asked Sandy if the employees or manager said anything to her for taking a dog in the store, we loved her response! She said she had saved for those cabinets for a long time and was planning to spend a LOT of money in that store. If they did say something, she had planned to calmly state that if they didn't want her dog in there, she's just go buy her cabinets at Lowes! Now THAT'S a comeback! But it all ended happily as the store employees just petted Max, and nothing was said. So, everything ended happily and calmly - Home Depot got Sandy's money, Sandy got her cabinets, and little Max wasn't in the headlines for causing a fight at the local Home Depot! Ha! Ha! Thanks Sandy and Darrel, for leaving a space in your hearts for our special boy, Max!
