3/2/10 update available!

I am a very pretty and sweet silver colored Poodle named Marlo. I am 6 to 7 years old and weigh 8 lbs. I came from the Roane County puppy mill bust - thank heavens, SBRET rescued me! Otherwise, I would have probably been sold at a nasty flea market or to another puppy mill operator to keep making more puppies. SBRET was able to save a whole bunch of us from this bad situation, and I hope that all of us can be adopted to nice families.

Now, let me tell you about my personality. I am incredibly sweet and love nothing better than being on someone's lap or playing with a doggie or human friend. I am very social and fun and seek attention. My mom says that I am so very cute. I will potty outside and will do it inside too if you don't time it right. I am still learning my potty training. You will have to be patient with me on my housetraining and continue to provide positive reinforcement. I like playing with all my foster brothers and sisters. They are Chihuahuas and a Schnauzer. The Schnauzer and the biggest Chihuahua play the best and I get along with all of them.

If you are looking for a beautiful little girl to add to your family, please send in an application. My adoption fee is $175.00.

1/1/10 update: Well, what can I say but I really wasn't just fluffy I was a bit chubby too! You see when I went in to the vet to be spayed they discovered under all my curly poodle fur that I had a little secret--I was pregnant and ready to give birth any day. So I am on hold right now until I have my puppies but please check back for updates! And don't you think I look very beautiful with my new poodle do?

1/7/10 update: Marlo's puppies were born on 1/3/10. Biscotti is a chocolate female, Lorna is a black female, and Newton is a black male. See the picture below taken when they were 3 days old.

3/2/10 update: Well I had my puppies and raised the whole crew who are going off to their new families so now it is my time! I am ready for my own family and hope they find me soon. I am a very sweet dog but can be vocal when I want something so I probably would not be a great apartment dog--hey a gal has to speak up for what she wants doesn't she? I can be very bouncy and silly too! So motherhood is behind me and now I can finally just be a loving family companion. Give my buddies at SBRET a call if you think I am the one for you.
