Hi everyone! My name is Lulu and I am one of the 12 poodles you have been reading about. Check out my "before" pictures along with pictures of the other 11 Poodles that came to rescue with me. I am about 7 pounds and 3 years old and am a lovely gray and white color - well it will be lovely when my coat grows in! My foster mom says I am just a friendly, sweet little gal who enjoys the company of people as well as other friendly dogs. I am playful and am happy to sit beside you on the couch too. Going outside to potty is still a work in progress but I am great at using pee pads. I am such a good girl at night and will curl right up in my crate beside my foster mom's bed and sleep without making a peep. I am currently being treated for an ear infection and it appears I have had a lot of those which were left untreated. Hopefully the swelling in my ears will go down but my ears may always need a bit of attention. I sure wish someone had loved me enough to take care of me before coming to SBRET but life is good now. The only thing that would make my life even better would be if I could find my forever family. Older, gentle children would be fine in my new home. My adoption fee is $175. 7/4/09 update: Well I have been in foster care for a couple months now and everyone who meets me just falls in love with me. I am playful and sweet and get along so well with other dog buddies. The most important news is that my ears are finally getting better and it looks like I will not have to have surgery after all. I am staying on ear drops for another week or two and then hopefully I won't need them any more. My new family will need to pay close attention to keeping my ears dry and watching for any signs of infection. But my foster mom says that is a small thing to do to get so much poodle love in return!
