I am a 6 1/2 pound cutie named Lavender. I am a female Long-Haired Chihuahua, about 3
years old. I am so lucky because am coming from a family where I was so well loved but one of my two
legged family members got really sick and it was thought that they were terribly allergic to dog dander
so my family had to give me up. They felt a lot better knowing that SBRET would find me another fabulous
home with people who would love me just as much as they did.
You can see how pretty my hair is - mostly white with some tan. My tail curls over my back. I am a
wonderful little girl; I potty outside and I am good on a leash but I would love a fenced yard because
it is fun to nose around on my own outside (under close supervision, of course, since we little dogs
can be carried away by large birds of prey). I am an excellent car passenger as well. My new mom says
I am a very picky eater but that is the only thing she can think of that she wishes I would change about myself.
My favorite place to be is on your lap - or maybe curled up in bed with you at night (under the covers,
of course!). I am very sweet natured and like the other 4 legged dogs in my new household. I'm not so
sure about kids, they make me a little nervous. Older children might be OK. I also qualified to become
a HABIT (Humans and Animal Bond in Tennessee) dog but my family had to give me up before I could start
volunteering.
As with all SBRET dogs, I have been spayed and am up to date on all my inoculations and, of course, am
