Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee

Kiki the Poodle looking beautiful and getting ready for my new home just checking in! I know everyone has been following our story and will be excited to see us all adjusting to our foster homes. Check out my "before" pictures along with pictures of the other 11 Poodles that came to rescue with me. I am about 4 to 6 years old and weigh about 9 pounds and am a lovely white color.

I am my foster mom's best buddy right now and follow her all around the house. However, I have learned to settle down and will let her get out of my sight which is a good thing. I have even discovered the box with these fun things called toys in it! I have so much to learn but you know Poodles are quick learners!

I am doing about 95 percent of my business outside and my foster mom seems very happy about that - of course she is reinforcing these good habits daily and seems to watch me awfully closely! I sleep all night in a crate right by her bed but would enjoy being a bed buddy for sure. I am learning about going out for walks on beautiful spring mornings and going for rides in the car. Who knew there were so many things to experience.

I am being fostered with a Chihuahua and a Maltese and sometimes I can be a bit bossy if I have something special or am cuddled up in my little bed. My foster mom is correcting me for this so I am starting to get the picture that this is not cool. I have had such a bad life up until now but you know us dogs don't dwell on that and all I know is that life is great now and I am ready to move on and find my forever family.

I would be fine with gentle children - no toddlers please since I don't have previous child experience. Let my friends at SBRET know if you think you are ready for a gorgeous gal like me to join your family. My adopton fee is $175.
