Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee

Hi! My name is Jezebel. I am a senior female Yorkie looking for someone to love and care for me in my "golden years." My mom died recently and my sister, Priscilla, and I found ourselves orphaned and homeless. Fortunately for us, SBRET has a special place in their hearts for Yorkies and we soon found ourselves in a loving foster home.

Now for a little about myself. I am more outgoing than my sister. I love to sit with my foster dad and get belly rubs. I will not jump up on the couch until invited. I have very good manners. I have lost all my teeth and the infection from neglect has also gotten into the jaw bone some. My lower jaw kind of hangs down, but my foster mom says this doesn't keep me from being oh so cute. I am on a diet of "soft" food, but this has not hurt my appetite.

I love to go for rides. All you have to do is get a carrier out and I am in it and ready to go. I also enjoy walks and do pretty well on a leash. I was trained to use pee pads, but am not real sure yet about going outside to potty. So I will need some time and patience to train me in this area. I sleep quietly in a crate, but would really love to be in the big bed and do occasionally get to spend some time there with my foster parents.

My sister, Priscilla, and I need to be adopted together as that is all we have known since we were just puppies. We are a team and two times the fun! We also require a home without young children and hopefully with someone home during the day or at least part of the day. Please see my sister's page for more information about her.
