Hey Everyone! I want to do my own shout-out! My name is Jackie. I was a very beloved companion until my owner passed away. I'm a 4 year-old female Chihuahua with maybe some Jack Russell mixed in for fun. I weigh a perfect 11 pounds and have the cutest, sweetest face. My foster mom says I'm the easiest girl around. I sleep in my crate all night without a peep. But if you have room for me in the big bed – hey, you won't' have to ask me twice!

I am used to a quiet lifestyle and would perfect for an older couple. I can be playful and squeak toys are very interesting! I've seen a few nyla bones around here and I've hidden a couple for later. You never know when you might need a snack. I'm a good little watch dog and I will let you know if there is something outside that needs your attention. But my most favorite thing is to snuggle with you on the couch. I do have just one little, tiny pet peeve; I get jealous of other dogs coming near you when I'm in your lap! Sorry I can't help it, it's the Chihuahua in me! My foster mom has three other Chihuahua's and I'm learning to share the laps around here. What can you do with four dogs and only two laps! I would like to have a doggie friend to hang out with, but if it was just you and me, I'm down with that too.

Little kids make me nervous, so only older mature kids are for me. If you have a cat I won't pay any attention to it, but if you have more than one I might get curious. I do my business outside, just take me out for a walk or let me out in your fenced yard. My foster mom and dad are very impressed with my good manners and say that I can have the run of the house when they go out on errands and I haven't had any accidents. I like walking with a harness instead of just a collar because I have a sensitive little neck. Sometimes I get to go for rides in the car and I'm quiet and calm.

I will sit back on my back legs and paw at you for attention or I'll give you my best "Elvis" smile, mom says it's so cute! Sometimes I like to sing with you, ya know I have a great voice! I am a sweet little girl and I'm really looking forward to having my own home again and I hope you'll think I'm just the perfect dog for you. Give my friends at SBRET a call, ok?
