This is Honey Bear with her new family - Pat, Leslie, and Jason.
Pat is a teacher and before she adopted Honey Bear her entire class was
kept up to date on the process and encouraged Pat to find her perfect dog.
Lucky for us that dog turned out to be Honey Bear. Honey Bear has already
been to class with Pat and the kids absolutely adore her! Soon we hope
to get a picture of Honey Bear with her new friends in Pat's classroom.
When people ask us how we can foster a dog, get attached to it, and then
give it up for adoption - this is the perfect example of why we can do
it! We know our dogs are going to homes that most often can give them
more time and attention than we as fosters have been able to!
