In Loving Memory

How could such a wonderful girl like me end up in a shelter? My name is Holly but my foster parents call me "Sweet Pea" because I am so sweet. I am a senior Lhasa Apso mix, probably between 10-12 years old but don't let my age fool you because I have an inner puppy that loves to play outside and run with my four- legged fur friends, I have even been caught sleeping with the cat!

My foster parents are impressed with my outside bathroom duties and that I love my crate. I am such a wonderful dog and it was so terrible to think that I was very close to being put to sleep--thanks goodness a very kind person spotted me and plucked me from the shelter in just the nick of time! She even drove me to Knoxville to SBRET because she saw something special in my eyes and couldn't let me die all alone in the shelter. You see mature gals like me don't stand much of a chance in an overcrowded shelter and kind folks and rescue groups are usually our only chance. I do have something wrong with my heart, I believe it is bigger than usual, but my foster Mom tells me it's because I have so much love to give.

My foster Mom would prefer that I live with someone that doesn't have small children and must have a warm lap. Could you be that certain someone? Thanks for considering me for your furry friend--I promise you won't be sorry! My adoption fee is $100.
