Hi my name is Hershey. I am a male Poodle right at 10 pounds and approximately 3 years old. I am one of the Roane County Puppy Mill crew. Boy, has my life changed since SBRET rescued me. I have a nice warm bed, plenty of food, and lots of love. My foster mom says she can't believe how sweet I am with all I have been through. There are these new things called toys that squeak, bones I can chew on (now that my teeth are fixed), warm beds, soft laps, and oh my gosh, the belly rubs! Life is great now, but what I really want is home to call my own.

I am doing good on my housetraining, but I still have to work at it. My foster mom makes me wear this thing called a belly band. It keeps me from marking all over the house. I am learning that you can't do that inside, but sometimes I forget. I love people and really enjoy going on walks. I get so excited when the leash comes out. I sleep in my crate at night and sometimes I go in there to sleep during the day, but I really prefer the couch for naps! I get so excited when you come home, but I settle right down so I can curl up next to you. I am great with men, women, and children. I play with the dogs here at my foster home and I do good in the car. I love to look out the window, there is so much to see!

I will need professional grooming. Right now my hair is growing back because it had to be shaved. I am such a sweet boy. Everyone I meet loves me and I love them.
