There are many words to describe me - and all of them are good - but my stats first. My name is Gilmore. I am about 3 yeard old, 11 pounds and am a male Terrier mix. I was an owner surrender as they were unable to care for me any longer.

My foster mom describes me as "outgoing" - I think that means I like everybody, including kids and most other dogs. I love playing with the dog in the family. I love getting toys out of the toy basket (my foster mom wishes I could learn to put them back up at the end of the day!). I am affectionate and love being with my people. I can be mischievous at times but what 3-year old boy isn't? My mom thinks I am really smart and willing to learn.

I've about got the housetraining stuff down. Now that I've been in my foster home for a bit, I have a good idea of what I want in my forever home: I want someone to play with me - kids are also great if they like to throw tennis balls for me to fetch; I want a fenced yard; I'd love a fun/sweet dog companion; I want a cushy bed (I love napping in my crate or on a bed wherever my folks are) and someone who likes to have me on their lap. Since I am a young, busy terrier I would not be happy in a home where I had to be crated for many hours in a day.

If you think you might be the perfect companion for a fun, young dog like me you can send in an SBRET application. Of course I've been neutered, up to date on all necessary vaccinations, and am on heartworm and flea preventative. My adoption fee is $175.
