Hi! My name is Friskie and I am a darling 11 year old female chihuahua. I'm in search of a loyal, loving family to spend the rest of my life with.

I was a great companion for my previous owner until the sad day came when he died and I was alone, nowhere to go. Thank goodness SBRET was there for me. They knew that Chihuahuas can live very long lives and just because I am a senior, I am no less deserving of a good loving home. So,that's where you come in!

I am a healthy girl except for my knees so SBRET fixed one of them and I am good to go. I do have a limp but that's no big deal. The only thing I probably can't do is go for long walks. I love to keep you company on the couch while reading or watching TV and at night, I will keep you warm in bed. I go outside to do my business and accidents only happen when you don't take me out. My days are spent napping in my wonderful heated bed under a big warm blanket. My foster mom thinks I am adorable especially when I want to be picked up. I get all excited and turn around and "get into position" so I'm easier to lift. It must be pretty cute because she won't stop kissing me!! Did I mention that I love kisses on my neck? I throw my head back and that is your clue to start! Ha! I am one lovable little girl.

I bark only when someone comes to the door and will stop when I am sure it's all safe. When I came to live here I was very overweight and it has taken a long time to get to a healthy weight again. My new home has to commit to keeping me slim and trim. A quiet, less busy home would probably work best and certainly no small children.
