Hi, my name is Fonzie. I am a 2 year old 7 lb Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. I am a good looking boy, and my foster mom thinks I look just like a fox. I was found traveling across country in a U-Haul with over 100 other dogs. I was very hot, dirty, and scared. Luckily some nice people rescued me and introduced me to my friends at SBRET.

In my foster home, I have come a long way. I was very shy at first and hid most of the time. I have now realized people are ok. They give you food, take you for walks and give you belly rubs. My new family will need to be patient with me and allow me to learn to trust them. I am doing good about sleeping in a crate at night. My potty training is going well and I know that the outside is for pottying, but I sometimes need to be reminded. My foster mom puts a bellyband on me while I am in the house in case I forget.

I need a lot of patience, but give a lot of love in return. Do you have room in your life for a little guy like me? I would do best in a home without young children. I have been neutered and am up to date on my vaccinations. Please contact my friends at SBRET about making me a part of your family. My adoption fee is $75.
