Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee

Hi big world, fuzzy Duncan checking in here. My sister Keelin and I had a bit of a rough start as my mom (beautiful Maura) was from the Roane County puppy mill crew and she actually gave birth to me in the shelter. Lucky for us SBRET was able to come and get us the next day. I am a male Pomeranian and as of 1/25/10, I am 6 weeks old and weigh 3  1/2 pounds.

Even though I am much bigger than my sister I am not quite as outgoing and will try to hide behind her if I get scared--that is kind of hard since she is so tiny! I am enjoying playing with all sorts of toys but rope toys are one of my favorites and I will drag them all around. My foster mom says I am a snuggle bunny and am going to make someone a wonderful companion.

I will be ready for my forever home in about 3 weeks and as you know puppies require lots of time and patience. So I will need someone who is home part of the day and a fenced yard would be fun too. Pomeranians do shed and I will require frequent brushings and trips to the groomer to keep my coat looking nice. My adoption fee is $175.
