My name is Danko (I was named for rocker Rick Danko of The Band) and I am 11
pounds of energy and fun and love. I am about a year old and am possibly a Min Pin with some
chihuahua mixed in. I am a healthy little guy and pretty cute if I do say so myself! I am friendly
to human and canine alike....in fact, I try to herd poor Sophie (my 55 pound foster sister) all the
time...she tolerates me fairly well.
I love to race around with my toys and then invite you to a game of tug of war. I love to play and
then take a nap on your lap. I love to snuggle and if I get the chance, I'll crawl under a
blanket with you and be in doggy heaven. I am a smart boy. I understand "no" and "sit," walk
nicely on a leash, and am crate-trained. I can also give you a "high five" and speak. Since I have
demonstrated a talent for being able to climb a fence, I will need one that is not chain link or
will need to be leash walked. I also need an adult only home or a home with no children under 12
years old.
