Hello everyone, I am Corinna, a very shy 2 year old female Long-Haired Chihuahua that came from a puppy mill in Missouri. I weigh about 6 pouinds. I am a beautiful little girl and my fur is just gorgeous. I am a tri-color with the cutest little tan eyebrows. My life before SBRET saved me was spent entirely in a small cage with very little human contact. My foster Mom is working very hard every day to earn my trust, but this is going to be a very long process and whoever adopts me will need to have a lot of time and patience. I promise in the end it will be worth it! My forever home will need to be a quiet adult home with another small dog or two and a securely fenced in yard for potty breaks. I am accustomed to being around other dogs and another dog in my new home will help teach me the ropes. I am also comfortable going in and out of the house to potty with another fur buddy so this is very important to me. I need someone who is home at least part of the day to continue my rehab. At night I prefer to sleep in my own crate so that I feel secure. My biggest issue is my fear of all the new and unknown things. Isn't is sad that living inside a home is an unknown thing? I am still worried about being picked up and tend to go to my safe spot to let my foster Mom get me. Once she has picked me up I love to snuggle under the blanket with her and these treat things? My goodness, I will take them right out of her hand. It is important that I not be chased, and my friends at SBRET will be happy to help you with my transition.
