Charmin is my name but my foster mom says maybe it should really be Charming
because that is what I am. I am just as cute as a bug, am a little 3 year old boy, weigh about 7
pounds, and am a terrier mix. I found myself in rescue because my owner did not have time to
spend with me and I spent most of my time in the bathroom all alone--hey I wonder if that is
where my silly foster mom got my name?
So as you can imagine a lot about the world is new to me but they say I am a fast learner. I am
nervous in new situations but am just as sweet and friendly as can be. I love, love to be with
my person and am enjoying my little fur buddy at my foster home too. I am a bit worried about
going through doors but that is getting much, much better too now--I think I was worried it might
be closed on me--no more being shut behind closed doors for me please.
Housetraining was a bit of a new concept for me but I am doing great with that too as long as
you take me out frequently, but of course I will need that continued reinforcement in my new
home. I am discovering toys and I even got in a little bit of trouble when I stole a pair of
socks. You know it is hard to tell the difference between dog toys and human stuff! Even
though I lost the socks my foster mom had a smile on her face--she said she was secretly glad
to see my playful, silly nature coming out!
Well, I guess that is about all for now--I sure hope my new family has lots of time for me.
I would probably be fine in a home with children over 10 as long as they were gentle and a
