In Loving Memory

Hello! I am Charlie Brown, and I AM a clown! I am about a year old Terrier mix and I am an all american dog. I was rescued from a shelter when my time was up, so I am so grateful to have a second chance. I am very smart and I love to learn new things. I know how to sit, lie down, circle, shake, stand on my hind legs, and bow. I am very food motivated and would love to learn agility or more tricks! I love to play with toys and get along great with other dogs. I get a bit worked up sometimes though, so a dog that can match my energy is good.

I have never been around cats, but my foster mom thinks I would probably chase them since I am so playful. I can get very excited when you come home and bark to let you know I missed you. I am also great at letting you know if someone is outside, but will stop barking when you tell me and give me a cookie (that's a treat or piece of dry food)! When I am out and about I am a perfect gentleman. My foster mom has brought me to work, dog class, and even a women's expo! I am very social. My only downfall is I get nervous in the car and drool alot, a REAL LOT!

I am doing well on my housetraining. I am comfortable in a crate when you can't watch me, and sleep all night long without a peep. Since I am still young I would do best if someone is home at least part of the day. I am not sure I could handle being alone 8 hours right now. I am living with a four year old boy now and I do like him and other kids. I do jump sometimes though and try to chew his toys, so if you have kids you will have to watch me closely. I may do best in a household with kids over 7.

If you want a companion that satisfies your playful side then settles down to snuggle, then consider me! I can't wait to find my forever home! My adoption fee is $175.
