In Loving Memory

My name is Angel and everyone who meets me agrees it is a perfect name for me! I am a senior (over 10 years old) female Chihuahua. I am a very, very tiny girl at only about 3-1/2 pounds. Thank goodness I had a very special person who found out I was headed to the shelter and contacted SBRET. You know a lot of us little guys have folks who watch out for us--there are some very kind people in this world! The next thing you know I am on a long road trip headed to Tennessee. In my foster home I get along with all the small creatures--human and furry ones, including those silly ones called cats. I have a typical Chihuahua attitude and want to boss the big dog so no big dogs for me please--you see I do not have any teeth left but I don't know that! I love, love to cuddle with my humans and to be carried around and am just so sweet. I do really well on my housetraining and will always go outside to do my business as long as you do your part and let me out!

I need a super special retirement home with someone who needs a lovely little companion. I need an adult home due to my tiny size and fragility. My eyes are a bit cloudy so my vision is probably not the best and I have a few places where my hair does not appear to be growing back in--it is where my gray colored fur should be and so is probably alopecia related to that dilute coloring. I also have some arthritis and well I think you get the idea--I am in my Senior years and need a family willing to keep me as comfortable as I can be for as long as I have a good quality of life. Right now I do just great but age will catch up with me. Do you think you might have it in your hearts to let a little Angel in? If so, please give my friends at SBRET a call and talk to them about me! My adoption fee is $100.
