Thanks for visiting the SBRET Angel Trees in Knoxville at Wild Birds Unlimited on Kingston Pike, Agrifeed Pet Supply on Middlebrook Pike and Mast General Store on Gay St. The Farragut locations were Petco and Bark Place Grooming. Oak Ridge locations were Oak Ridge Feed and Pet Supplies Plus.

Thank you to all the local businesses who allowed SBRET to place an Angel Tree in their store. And a huge thank you to all the folks who stopped by and visited our Angel Trees! Thanks to both, all foster dogs in our program will be receiving yummy food and treats, chews, toys, sweaters, cushy beds and blankets. The extra support means so much to all the volunteers as these are items the rescue does not purchase but each individual foster home frequently purchases for the dog or dogs in their care. It takes all of us coming together to take care of the homeless dogs in our community. Thank you again and Happy New Year!

Thanks for helping us celebrate ten years of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned small dogs in the Tennessee area! SBRET's 10-year Reunion Celebration was a wonderful success! Thank you to all of our past adopters who came to spend their Sunday afternoon with us at Lenoir City Park at 4550 City Park Dr, Lenoir City, TN 37772 on Sunday, October 6, from 2:00-5:00 pm and let us visit with our former foster dogs. What a special day! Even the weather cooperated! We could not have had such a special celebration without the support of our volunteers and sponsors.

Thank you to the following folks who made our 10 year celebration possible by showing their support on this day and all year round: Anderson County Animal Hospital, Bark Place Grooming, Dixie Lee Storage, Farragut Animal Clinic, Federal Enrichment Credit Union, Frito-Lay, Lenoir City Parks and Recreation, Mast General Store, Pepsi-Cola, Petco, PetSmart, Village Veterinary Medical Center, and Wild Birds Unlimited. Also there are many individuals who support us year round and we appreciate each and every one of you! We had a fun day playing games, visiting, eating, shopping, and visiting some more! Remember, do a big thing, adopt a small dog!

Thanks for joining us at Island Home Airport Sunday, September 15 from 4-8 pm for the Tales in Flight Take Off Party . The suggested donation at the door was $10 and all proceeds from the door was split split among Adopt a Golden Knoxville, Small Breed Rescue of East TN, and Dames for Danes! Admission included champagne and mimosas for those of age to consume adult beverages! The top three contributors won a sunset flight over Knoxville.

The event was held in the main hanger of Island Home Airport. Delicious treats wwere provided by Saucy's Catering. What a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon and help some furry friends in need! We only hd 1 dog and an information table at this event. This event was about raising rescue awareness and encouraging folks to donate finishing funds for a documentary that follows the incredible journey of dogs rescued by Big Fluffy Dog Rescue and transported to safety by Pilots N Paws.

Thanks for joining us at Bark in the Park after Dark on Saturday, June 8 from 6 - 9 pm at Market Square. The event was sponsored by the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley (HSTV). This is East Tennessee's biggest party for dogs and their people and marked the 19th year as the dog-lovers event of the season. It was a great time to come down on a summer night and play games, have competitions and meet other dog lovers. Lots of people showed up to strutt their mutts!

Do a Big Thing this Spring...Thanks for all the donations from your spring cleaning for our 3nd Annual "Garage" sale on Saturday, April 27th, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event was at the Highland Park Ruritan Building, Highway 321, in Lenoir City, at traffic light number 6, across from Wal-Mart. One-hundred percent of the proceeds go towards medical expenses for the dogs in care of Small Breed Rescue.

Many thanks for all the folks that dropped by to shop and for all the volunteers that helped set up items for the sale and helped with collecting the items. We want to say a HUGE 'thank you' to all of our wonderful supporters and volunteers for making this year�s garage sale a tremendous success! We also want to extend our utmost gratitude to Cheri, a dedicated volunteer, for spending countless hours planning and organizing this annual event. The money you helped us raise will save a lot of lives and we are honored to count you all as part of the SBRET family!

SBRET sends many tail wags and puppy kisses to the wonderful folks at Dixie Lee Storage Facility in Lenoir City on HW 11E for supporting us in the collection phase of our Third Annual Garage. It is because of people like the owners of Dixie Lee Storage, that SBRET continues to save the lives of small dogs.
