The adopt-a-thon at Pet Quarters at 7811-A Oak Ridge Highway in Karns on Saturday, July 8, 2006 from 11 am - 2 pm  has been cancelled  due to the death of one of the SBRET board members. The rescheduled date and time will be posted when determined.

Hardin Valley Animal Hospital Thanks for joining us at Hardin Valley Animal Hospital (at 10017 Hardin Valley Rd.) on Saturday, May 13th 2006 from 11 am -2 pm for an ADOPTION FAIR and AGILITY DOG DEMONSTRATION. Lots of other rescue groups also participated. The agility demo was provided by the Oak Ridge Kennel Club. Refreshments were provided by Hot Bagel of Oak Ridge.

Thanks for joining us on Saturday April 29th 2006 from 10 am - 2 pm at "ANIMAL HOUSE" - a Philanthropy/Fundraiser sponsored by the Sigma Alpha Professional Agriculture Sorority and the Knoxville Zoo. The event took place on the Agriculture campus of UT, in the Brehm Animal Science Arena. A portion of the profits were donated to the Serenity Shelter, a center for victims of domestic violence. The event was coined "Animal House" because there were speakers and venders representing many different types of pets and their special needs. The public was encouraged to bring their friendly pets to the day’s activities. The event began at 10:00 am, with lunch available from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, and ended around 2:30 pm. There were speakers, games and other activities throughout the day.

Pet Supplies 'PLUS' - founded by pet lovers for pet lovers! Thanks for joining us at  Pet Supplies Plus (PSP)  at 4856 Harvest Mill Way (just off Broadway, behind Taco Bell) in Knoxville on Sunday, March 5, 2006 from noon to 4 pm. Pictures from the event are now available.
